Cole Anthony, born on May 15, 2000, in Portland, Oregon, is an American professional basketball player who plays as a point guard for the Orlando Magic in the NBA. He is the son of former NBA player Greg Anthony and author/filmmaker Crystal McCrary. Raised in Manhattan, New York, Anthony was instilled with strong work ethics despite his family's affluence. He initially played baseball but shifted his focus to basketball in the fifth grade.

Anthony began his high school basketball career at Archbishop Molloy High School in New York, becoming the first freshman to start at point guard for the school. He later transferred to Oak Hill Academy in Virginia for his senior year, where he averaged a triple-double and earned MVP honors in prestigious games like the McDonald's All-American Game. He was also named Virginia Gatorade Player of the Year.

In college, Anthony played for the North Carolina Tar Heels during the 2019–2020 season. He made a significant impact, scoring 34 points in his debut game, setting records for a freshman debut in both the program and the ACC. Despite a knee injury that sidelined him for several weeks, he averaged 18.5 points, 5.7 rebounds, and 4 assists per game, earning third-team All-ACC and ACC All-Freshman Team honors.

Anthony declared for the NBA draft in April 2020 and was selected 15th overall by the Orlando Magic. He quickly made a name for himself with clutch performances, including buzzer-beating game-winners against the Minnesota Timberwolves and the Memphis Grizzlies. In his rookie season, he averaged 12.9 points, 4.7 rebounds, and 4.1 assists per game. Over the next seasons, he continued to be a valuable player for the Magic, with his best season in 2021–22, averaging 16.3 points, 5.4 rebounds, and 5.7 assists per game. In October 2023, he signed a three-year, $39 million contract extension with the team.

Off the court, Anthony is known for his charismatic personality and has been involved in various media projects. He appeared in the 2013 Nickelodeon documentary "Little Ballers," directed by his mother. He is also active on social media and has been linked to social media influencer Overtime Megan.
